was in Bimbipark with 2 friends last November 2008. We visited the
great ocean road and stopped in Bimbipark for the night. We slept in a
van. It was a great moment with the noise of koalas in the trees. We
spent a good time ant would recommand this place especially for families
or groups of persons.

Modern amenities that also have very efficient water usage design,
koalas living above many of the sites, other Australian fauna all so
close by, tranquility both day and night, easy access to stunningly
beautiful and grand scenery, very well stocked shop, friendly
management, good cooking facilities, and even more reasons why I’m
impressed and enjoy Bimbi Park.

to preserve this little piece of truly amazing paradise.

My Wife and I have been going to Bimbi Park every Easter for 25
years.
The Owners are very friendly and helpful and the Ameneties are first

The Grandkids love feeding the horses and looking for Koala’s in the

It is the most friendly and relaxing park we have stayed in.

We had a great time camping in our tent at Bimbi Park and exploring
Cape Otway and surrounds – even with the gale force winds and hail! In
weather like that, it was reassuring to know that the amenities were so
good so there was somewhere to escape to if the tent blew away, which
thankfully it didn’t. We’ll be back for sure (hopefully in finer weather
though!).

Bimbi Park is a rare delight! Situated in a cluster of remnant gum
trees casting dappled light. A short walk over enchanting grassy hills
(with horses!) is a dune track with stunning views and short decent to
epic beaches and the beautiful Rainbow Falls. We love this part of the
world and we love this park.

Bimbi Park is a fantastic base to explore the sights of the nearby

not have been so wonderful. The staff are amazing and helpful too!

A big group of friends met up at the fabulous Bimbi Park in April
this year. We stayed in a cabin that had all we could ask for and more
and the amenities were top notch. We will definetly be back, might stay
in one of the cute caravans next time. Great walks, great facilities and
you really are sleeping under the koalas!

After surviving Black Saturday bushfire in Kinglake I needed to stay
somewhere green, peaceful, beautiful and abundant in wildlife. Bimbi
Park is such a place. Being so close to forests and the ocean, Bimbi
Park is ideal for walking, running, photography, bird watching, koala
spotting, writing and relaxing.

I can’t count the amount of times we have stayed at Bimbi now. Our

comfortable and Frank and Katrina couldn’t have been more helpful,

I have stayed here both as an independant traveller and with a school
group. It’s facilities are second to none, offering a range of
alternatives, from camping in tents amongst the many koalas (which
happily wander right through the site not more than a few metres from
where we were eating breakfast) through to the self contained cabins.
Location is very convenient to the range of activities on offer
throughout the region – 12 Apostles, GOR, Cape Otway lighthouse, Great
Ocean Walk (which we undertook), horse riding onsite. New owners were
wonderful, extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with, and oh the
pizzas!! Will be back.

We loved camping under koalas! We were pretty sure we were watching
the koala above us as much as he was watching us queer creatures.
Throughout our visit in OZ, we met a number of good samaritans and Frank
was one of them. He was the only kind caravan park operator on GOR who
responded positively and said he could “squeeze us in” a small spot to
camp for the night during Dec’08 peak season. I’ll be going back to GOR
again mid this month and this time, bringing my sis along to experience
sleeping under koalas

Last stayed at Bimbi Park both in tents and in cabins whilst doing
the Great Ocean Walk. Even though the amenties block was being
reconstructed and a little chaotic at the time the facilities were not
wanting for anything and now presumably finished will be more than
ideal. Bimbi is a beautiful balance of comfortable cabin accomodation
amidst natural bush with many completely unspoilt bush sites for those
who would rather enjoy it in a tent. The Chapel (I presume it’s still
there) is an absolutely superb area to sit during the quiet times and
contemplate. Best experienced as the sun is rising.
As a base camp for those walking the Great Ocean Walk or any of the
other delights of the Otways you would be hard pressed to find a more
delightful spot to stay than Bimbi. We’ll be back!

Bimbi Park is a great getaway, especially for families! With great
facilities and located in fantastic native bushland with massive gum
trees and generous camp sites it is a camper’s dream: Not far from the
Otway lighthouse, with abundant wildlife all around (including plenty of
koalas in the trees above you), this park offers an open-air cinema and
horse rides to the beach. It only takes a short trip by car to explore
other gems in this region – Mait’s Rest Rainforest Walk, The Otway Fly
and Apollo Bay to name a few.
Bimbi Park also offers a number of cabins and powered sites for
caravans. Very friendly and helpful management, great atmosphere all
around!
Don’t miss it – you will have a great time!

Family fun and natural beauty is what Bimbi park is all about. We
enjoy the koalas, the walks, the convenience to local beaches and
townships. We especially like all of the activities on offer including
horse riding, Wood oven pizza night, camp fires, movies in the retro
cinema etc… My favourite night was when an aboriginal elder came to
speak to us about the history of the site and various bush tickers foods
that are in abundance in cape otway. We can’t wait to get back and see
all the crew from Bimbi park

I’ve taken groups of university students down to Bimbi Park for the
past several years and our group has used it as a base for studies on
the diverse flora and fauna of the Cape Otway region. (Koalas are only
the beginning!) Frank and Katrina have been enthusiastic and very
cooperative hosts, always helping to make our stay very enjoyable and
productive. I’ve heard many compliments from our students about the
excellent facilities and the beautiful surrounds. It’s also a great
place for an interesting holiday, with many things to see nearby. I
can’t recommend Bimbi Park highly enough!

Bimbi Park is one of those undiscovered gems. At first glance it does
not seem impressive until you stay the night and discover a secluded
spot with lots of wildlife and things to discover with the kids. It has
a great location, near the Otway Fly, the lighthouse and there are lots
of walks. I don’t want to promote it too much as I’d rather have it to
myself!

Whether camping or cabins Bimbi has it all for our family – the kids
love it and we can unwind from city life and get close to nature with
horse riding, koala spotting and walks to rainbow falls, station beach
or Cape Otway lighthouse. Its also a great base from which to explore
the region or just kick back in the central eating area enjoying the
tranquility of the park and where the kids have fun with other kids in a
safe environment. The kids always get excited when we say we are off to
Bimbi for a long weekend or holiday as its an adventure but with all the
creature comforts which makes it hard to leave!

Our stay at Bimbi Park was fantastic. Beautiful location, fabulous
facilities and friendly management. Our dog, Astro, loved the free play
areas and swimming in the creek over the road. Just a short drive away
was a beautiful dog friendly surf beach. All in all a great place to get
away from it all..thanks

My family and I have stayed at Bimbi Park many times. We love the
unspoilt ‘close to nature’ feeling of the place. Early morning walks
down to Station Beach, outrides through bush and along the beach, and a
choice of 3 or 4 stunning beaches to explore and enjoy only a few
minutes away. The kids love it – the horseriding, freedom to roam and
the classic old-time outdoor cinema under the trees. The hosts Frank and
Katrina are so warm and welcoming, and very relaxed, and their
renovations are fantastic. I love to take my foreign visitiors to Bimbi
– a stunning taste of Australia – native bush, birds and koalas
everywhere. Not far from Melbourne and yet a million miles away!

Bimbi is a unique and special place. I believe it is a place of
healing. There are lots of stories of people staying at Bimbi and
getting better. I have been staying at Bimbi for about 20 years. I bring
my daughter and nephew now and they love it to. the nature, the
bushwalks and the horseriding.
The surrounding nature of the magnificant Otways Ranges and the
Shipwreck coast are of course fantantic! Bimbi Park itself is awesome.
they have great facilities and the management always go that extra step
for our comfort.
they deserve to win and I hope they will.

Bimbi park is a great place for families and those who want to go
bush yet still have some creature comforts. The modern water wise
amenities block I consider the best facilities seen and always clean,
the same goes for the camp kitchen. The koala’s don’t let you down they
are always there along with the bird life and other native animals.
Theirs always something to do with bush walks and horse riding
available. Tell you what don’t listen to me go find out for yourself and
enjoy.

What a fantastic place Bimbi Park is. I have stayed there many times
with my family and just love the serenity coupled with the multitude of
activities available. A few years ago my partner and I did a two day
horse ride through the bush and along the beach and it stays in my mind
as a fun and memorable experience.

Fantastic park and facilities. The friendly hosts always had a smile
on their faces and made us feel most welcome. Our 2yr old daughter loved
it. She was captivated with everything from the koalas to the chooks to
the very simple, yet very effective, tire swings. We will definitely be
going back for years to come. This place rocks.

We didn´t like at all the place. We went there in winter, and it´s
not the best place to be at all in winter (July). The cabin was very
cold, and the badroom facilities didn´t have heating at all.
It was very unconfortable!.
I wouldn´t recommend it!

I just discovered Bimbi Park last year and it was an absolute gem.
Great little spot with the Koalas, especially to base yourself for
exploring the Otway area. I was not expecting the modern and high
quality facilities that I found and Frank and Katrina are extremely
helpful. Plus horse riding in the Park starts right here. I recommend
this place to everyone.

I came all the way from America to spend a week at Bimbi Park, and
had an incredibly terrific time. Koalas all over the place, kukaburras,

and close proximity to rain forest attractions and great restaurants.
Don’t miss it!

Our cabin was very comfortable and well equipped and the site was
very relaxing after enduring the dreadful Black Saturday in Melbourne it
was a welcome retreat. Of course the highlight for us had to be the
koalas, especially the mother carrying her baby, a site not seen in the
trees of the UK!!

The koalas are friendly, charming, and helpful, no wait, this is the
management and friendly staff – silly me !
Located all around the wonder full campsite, with modern facilities
strewn throughout the mighty gum trees you will also find those cuddly
creatures (the koalas of course …). Always a pleasure to stay at Bimbi,
relax with the family, enjoy the bush walks, horse rides , the oceans,
the peace and quiet, the stars at night. My kids still rate this as
their number one (1) place to stay and holiday [ even beating some {not
disclosing names} theme parks up in the north of the country ]. Kids
enjoying themselves, and adults just relaxing, this IS the life we all
need/want to get back to. Our family will continue to holiday in this
number one place – Bimbi.

We have used Bimbi Park as a base for walking the Great Ocean as a
series of day walks. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts.
The park is in a delightful setting and we have been impressed on our

improvements that have been made over the years. The excellent camp
kitchen and lounge facilities suit our requirements admirably. A great

Bimbi Park is the perfect spot to holiday with the family. Unless of
course if you don’t like koalas. There are plenty of koalas at Bimbi and
in the nearby Otways forest. Don’t miss Aire River while you’re there.
It’s simply magical. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and very
reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Great spot for everyone. Our group of 6 families have been going here
for years. The kids have grown up under the canopy of the Gums and we
have all explored the Otway Forest and coastal region many times using
Bimbi as a home base. Hiking, fishing, swimming, lazing round the camp
fire, walking, horseriding and a full experience of wildlife and
extraordinary landscapes keep us coming back.
All of us who have travelled extensively through Australia know that
Bimbi is a rare place – you can’t find environments like this just
anywhere.

I will never forget the kindness of the manager . We’d enjoyed
camping nearby at Blanket Beach. Then stopped by to check out the park
for future reference. We asked if we could use the shower block! Not
only did we enjoy a hot showers, but when we arrived home (Sydney) and
discovered my husband’s toiletry bag had been left in the men’s shower
block, the manager enthusiastically took the matter in hand. Given the
park is quite remote, we received it with everything in tact about about
a fortnight later.

Management were very warm & friendly. They helped us when needed [all

tree at shoulder height amazed the 10 exchange students in our care.
Rooms very clean & inviting. We have been back 3 times – more enjoyable
in summer than mid-winter, however, I still can’t get used to the idea
of coin operated hot water for showers, but coped with it. Overall score

multipurpose shared cooking facilities. Right on the Great Ocean Road
Great Location, Great Accomodation and Frank & Kat are Great Host. I highly recommend this Caravan Park. 10/10
was in Bimbipark with 2 friends last November 2008. We visited the great ocean road and stopped in Bimbipark for the night. We slept in a van. It was a great moment with the noise of koalas in the trees. We spent a good time ant would recommand this place especially for families or groups of persons.
Stayed at Bimbi park March 2009 with my son and his family, it’s their favorite camp ground and we can see why.
Will be back some day to savour more delights of your unique campground

Beautiful location and very friendly staff!
Modern amenities that also have very efficient water usage design, koalas living above many of the sites, other Australian fauna all so close by, tranquility both day and night, easy access to stunningly beautiful and grand scenery, very well stocked shop, friendly management, good cooking facilities, and even more reasons why I’m impressed and enjoy Bimbi Park.
WOW!!!! what a place I can only thank the guys down at bimbi park for there wonder camp site there hospitality and a stress free environment, we travel there at least 5 times a year its a place were my children can entertain them selves because there is so much to do
One of the best accommodations we have stayed at with our two girls. We love the hands on animals and being so close to them. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys being with nature and animals. It’s a must!
Stayed there with a school group and it was great! Beautiful area! great facilities and very comfortable beds! everyone had a good night sleep! Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay there again!
This is how other parts of Victoria used to be over my years of camping, but with man rapidly destructing the earth, lets do all we can to preserve this little piece of truly amazing paradise.
My Wife and I have been going to Bimbi Park every Easter for 25 years.
The Owners are very friendly and helpful and the Ameneties are first class.
The Grandkids love feeding the horses and looking for Koala’s in the trees
It is the most friendly and relaxing park we have stayed in.
What a great place. What a great experience. You’ve got get down to Bimbi Bark. It’s a life changing experience. Go Bimbi Park.
Great location, beautiful campsite, cool cabins, perfect service, – one of the best short breaks we’ve ever had, and so close to home!!
Amazing location and a wonderful family atmosphere.
Even though i only used the non-powered camp site, i feel the area like a national park but with all the good facilities.
Good Luck Frank. Glad to see that you are getting the feedback you deserve for all your efforts. You are in a fantastic location.
great place to take the kids and kick back and relax the owners are great and always make us welcome, franks wood fired pizzas are now world famous keep up the good work
Cheers Shane +liz
We had a great time camping in our tent at Bimbi Park and exploring Cape Otway and surrounds – even with the gale force winds and hail! In weather like that, it was reassuring to know that the amenities were so good so there was somewhere to escape to if the tent blew away, which thankfully it didn’t. We’ll be back for sure (hopefully in finer weather though!).
Great place and great people!! Would expect ecveryone to go!!
AMAZING!
We love staying at Bimbi Park. Great spot and great hosts that can’t do enough for you! Our group gets bigger and bigger every year because we rave about how good it is! Koalas and Possums everywhere!
We love Bimbi Park NO OTHER PARK COMES CLOSE GREAT FAMILY PARK
GO KAT & FRANK
Bimbi Park is a rare delight! Situated in a cluster of remnant gum trees casting dappled light. A short walk over enchanting grassy hills (with horses!) is a dune track with stunning views and short decent to epic beaches and the beautiful Rainbow Falls. We love this part of the world and we love this park.
Bimbi Park is a fantastic base to explore the sights of the nearby bush, rainforest, beaches, rolling hills, cliffs, lighthouses, plants and animals. Without them our adventure along the Great Ocean Road would not have been so wonderful. The staff are amazing and helpful too!
A big group of friends met up at the fabulous Bimbi Park in April this year. We stayed in a cabin that had all we could ask for and more and the amenities were top notch. We will definetly be back, might stay in one of the cute caravans next time. Great walks, great facilities and you really are sleeping under the koalas!
Best amenities block I’ve seen, very clean, family friendly, Bimbi Park is a fantastic place t visit.
After surviving Black Saturday bushfire in Kinglake I needed to stay somewhere green, peaceful, beautiful and abundant in wildlife. Bimbi Park is such a place. Being so close to forests and the ocean, Bimbi Park is ideal for walking, running, photography, bird watching, koala spotting, writing and relaxing.
I can’t count the amount of times we have stayed at Bimbi now. Our kids EXPECT to go every year and naturally, we all love it. Camping under koalas only happens at Bimbi – our kids love the outside theatre and the horse riding and toasting marshmallows over bonfires.
We had a great time and felt close to nature.
We have made arrangements to stay Easter 2010 but thecontact I have had with Frank has been more than statisfactory He has done what he said he woukd do and that is commendable.
we found bimbi park by accident and keep going back each year on our way to the falls festival – it’s a nice way to wind down into festival mode, watch sunset on the beach, and the facilities are awesome!
I have stayed at Bimbi Park on numerous occasions and have also taken school groups to Park and everytime it has been a very comfortable and pleasurable expreience. Frank and the team are extremely welcoming and prepared to go that extra step to ensure guests enjoy their time at Bimbi Park.
Bimbi Park is definatly an ideal location to escape the hussle and bussell of everyday life.
We had great stay at Bimbi Park. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable and Frank and Katrina couldn’t have been more helpful, especially in helping us plan our Great Ocean Walk. The site was beautiful with wonderful gum trees full of contented koalas and kookaburras. Have recommended to others as the place to stay! Left there with very fond memories, we had a wonderful stay.
Wonderful!!!
Clean and modern amongst the wildlife. We were able to see many koalas in a natural setting.
Great place.
Great hosts.
Great beaches.
Everything that you could ask for.
Good luck Frank & Katrina.
We’ve stayed at Bimbi a few times now and every time has been great fun. The kids loved horseriding, the chickens and freedom to roam and spotting koalas and possums. Great beaches. Showers and facilities very good. Just a great feel to the place, would recommend it with out hesitation!
Bimbi Park is an awesome place to stay whilst visiting the magnificent Otway Ranges. The hosts, Frank and Katrina ensure a fun family experience is had by all. Bimbi Park is a MUST STAY destination.
Our favourite destination by far………great hosts and great facilities and so much to do.
I have stayed here both as an independant traveller and with a school group. It’s facilities are second to none, offering a range of alternatives, from camping in tents amongst the many koalas (which happily wander right through the site not more than a few metres from where we were eating breakfast) through to the self contained cabins. Location is very convenient to the range of activities on offer throughout the region – 12 Apostles, GOR, Cape Otway lighthouse, Great Ocean Walk (which we undertook), horse riding onsite. New owners were wonderful, extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with, and oh the pizzas!! Will be back.
Lovely spot, been going for years and will keep on going. Plenty of things to do for the family.
Can you imagine walking the Great Ocean Walk and staying in a five star cabin and have restaurant meals served on your balcony each night. You may say Tell him he’s dreaming. Well this is exactly what 10 of us experienced in March this year at Bimbi Park.
We had a really lovely stay at Bimbi Park, I’ve never seen so many Koala’s! The Otway region is a wonderful place to visit, our kids had a great time. We will certainly stay at Bimbi Park again soon, this time bringing friends with us who weren’t able to come last time.
One of Victoria’s magical places with great cabins and sites. Horse riding along the beach is a buzz.
Cape Otway is one of the great MUST VISIT locations in Victoria and Bimbi Park is a wonderful place to stay for both groups and families – well run and friendly you will have a great time.
We loved camping under koalas! We were pretty sure we were watching the koala above us as much as he was watching us queer creatures. Throughout our visit in OZ, we met a number of good samaritans and Frank was one of them. He was the only kind caravan park operator on GOR who responded positively and said he could “squeeze us in” a small spot to camp for the night during Dec’08 peak season. I’ll be going back to GOR again mid this month and this time, bringing my sis along to experience sleeping under koalas

Not only a wonderful park but a truly inspiring time for my family and me.
The indigenous learning inter-active was the highlight of our holiday.
Also, the family friendly nature of the park extended to our moderately autistic 7yo. Everyone was very kind and helpful.
6 stars!
Thanks
kookaburras , koala s , possums, horses , good service , good to go back, its on our list of places to be, mark shirley robert jacinta
Beautiful location with great facilities. Saw so many koalas, loved it!
The kids loved the koalas and horse riding. A trip to remember.
We have stayed at Bimbi Park four times now and we will go back for a fifth time next year. A great location to stay when walking the Great Ocean Walk!
Love bimbi park excellent facilities, friendly hosts, when your there ask frank for wood fired pizza BEST will definetly be back family loved it….
Great place! sooooooooooo many koalassssssssss.
koalas galore
great beaches and walks
great holidayspot
best location in SW Victoria!
we had agreat time cant wait till next time.
Lovely quiet and spacious camping ground with terrific cabins and facilities. We stayed in a brand new cabin with our friends in an identical one next door .Cabins were very well designed and comfortable and we enjoyed having a fire outside at night. Great spot for horse-riding, bushwalks and a trip to the ‘twelve apostles’ coastline.
Delightful surroundings, lovely hosts who ensured our stay was relaxed, great place for goup gatherings, funky accommodation – loved every minute and will definitely be back.
Beautiful place to stay – quiet, lots of wildlife, and handy to the Great Ocean Walk.
Our “Just Friends Walking Group” had a wonderful week at Bimbi Park. It is a beautiful area and Frank & Katrina were fantastic hosts. Food was great (probably too much was the only complaint) and nothing was too much trouble. Very highly recommended.
Bimbi Park was fantastic! I enjoyed every minute there. Awesome people, great place to visit and lots of cute fury and feathery friends to admire. Comfy beds are as must and bimbi park definately delivered there too. Great job bimbi and i’ll swee you again soon
xx
Beautiful place to stay. Koalas perched in trees outside the windows, in full view. gorgeous scenery. Unique accomodation. Wonderful facilities, great service!!!
Thank you for a lovely stay,
Can’t wait for summer.Bringing the kids this time……and maybe the Mrs …..if she behaves!
Come and soak up the wildlife! Walk among the sand dunes, spot a few koalas and test a wood fired pizza.
Renovations over the last few years have been great, from the on-site caravans to the new toilet block. Great atmosphere with the resident sheep and Koalas. Access to the local attractions such as the Great Ocean Walk and Cape Otway Lighthouse very easy from Bimbi Park. Frank and Katrina (as always) are always wonderful hosts when we come down to visit.
Absolutely a delightful place to stay with koalas and bird life everywhere. Closeness to Great Ocean Rd walk was such a blessing, being able to go on day walks from Bimbi. Our cabin facilities where great and our hosts could not be more helpful. Loved the resident sheep and goat who added character to the place.
Would stay again without a second thought.
Fantastic facilities and great atmosphere in an awesome location! Keep up the good work Bimbi Park!!
Had a great camp here, great atmosphere. The owner even lent me his hat when I forgot my own!
Bimbi is one of our favourite camping spots. We love the secluded bush camps where the children can explore the bush, count the koalas and enjoy watching native birds. There are plenty of walks from the camping ground ideal for bird watchers and photographers. This is a clean, friendly and well run park. We look forward to our next visit.
Our fav place to stay. Working within the Tourism Industry myself I can vouch for the level of Customer Service. They treat all guest like they are part of the park and one of the reasons we keep going back. We have had Astrology nights, pizza nights, movie nights the list goes on.
Well Done Frank & Katrina
Fantastic family spot, quiet, safe, friendly staff, wonderful facilities, wildlife galore. Had a wonderful XMAS holiday and going back for another.
A campsite with soul! Beautiful, calm and with the added bonus of a half-decent toilet block.
Great family holiday spot. Fantastic hosts with activities nearly every night including wood-fired pizza night and ye olde movie on the outdoor screen. Lovely setting with walks to the beach and the boys had fun riding their bikes around with all the other kids. They also loved feeding the chooks and collecting eggs. Would love to go back.
Last stayed at Bimbi Park both in tents and in cabins whilst doing the Great Ocean Walk. Even though the amenties block was being reconstructed and a little chaotic at the time the facilities were not wanting for anything and now presumably finished will be more than ideal. Bimbi is a beautiful balance of comfortable cabin accomodation amidst natural bush with many completely unspoilt bush sites for those who would rather enjoy it in a tent. The Chapel (I presume it’s still there) is an absolutely superb area to sit during the quiet times and contemplate. Best experienced as the sun is rising.
As a base camp for those walking the Great Ocean Walk or any of the other delights of the Otways you would be hard pressed to find a more delightful spot to stay than Bimbi. We’ll be back!
A very down to earth place to stay. Relatively new owners have really sparked the place up.
nice friendly place, nice staff, good firewood, nice showers, good milkbar, nice horses, fab beaches, walking tracks, lovely birdlife, kookaburra, meet other nice campers, grear entertainment. good movie night,
We are looking forward to staying at Bimbi Park as Frank & Katrina have been very helping with the planning of our walk and I am especially looking forward to seeing the Koala’s and camping in the bush atomsphere
A great place for a family or group of friends in a weekend. Staff r friendly and bonfire wood is provide. Close to various tourist activities.
the absolute best time! l get away everyone can enjoy
We had a great stay there and will be back for more.
Lovely quiet place to stay, comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, beautiful gardens, great location. Was a perfect weekend escape!
Rocking place to kick back, have a few drinks and take in the fresh air with great wildlife and the resident sheep and goat! Cheers guys
The Great Ocean Walk was the best holiday we have experienced and Bimbi Park provided us with the perfect base. Superb amenities and wonderful hospitality from Frank, Katrina and our shuttle driver Leigh, combined with the breath taking scenery, made this a very special week.
Bimbi Park was a fantastic place to camp. I took a group of VCE students there and it was perfect for a trip. Beautiful area, lots of wildlife and close to some great walks.
Very impressed with the facilities also.
Bimbi Park is fun for all ages, horse riding and watching koalas for younguns, bushwalking and bird watching for the oldies
Bimbi Park suited us perfectly for our getaway from the city. A fine cabin, relaxed friendly atmosphere, and plenty of great bush complete with koalas to see both in the park and around it. We must return for another week to explore the other walks to the beach and to savour a different season of birds.
Bimbi Park is my favourite getaway spot. So peaceful in gorgeous surroundings. A wonderful family environment in a great location.
What a lovely friendly and relaxed place to have a holiday. LAS VEGAS ?, SURFERS ?….Give me BIMBI PARK EVERY TIME !
Bimbi Park is a great getaway, especially for families! With great facilities and located in fantastic native bushland with massive gum trees and generous camp sites it is a camper’s dream: Not far from the Otway lighthouse, with abundant wildlife all around (including plenty of koalas in the trees above you), this park offers an open-air cinema and horse rides to the beach. It only takes a short trip by car to explore other gems in this region – Mait’s Rest Rainforest Walk, The Otway Fly and Apollo Bay to name a few.
Bimbi Park also offers a number of cabins and powered sites for caravans. Very friendly and helpful management, great atmosphere all around!
Don’t miss it – you will have a great time!
Family fun and natural beauty is what Bimbi park is all about. We enjoy the koalas, the walks, the convenience to local beaches and townships. We especially like all of the activities on offer including horse riding, Wood oven pizza night, camp fires, movies in the retro cinema etc… My favourite night was when an aboriginal elder came to speak to us about the history of the site and various bush tickers foods that are in abundance in cape otway. We can’t wait to get back and see all the crew from Bimbi park
Bimbi is fantastic. It is a great place to immerce yourself into an amazing environment.
At Bimbi Park found everything you want in a park .Clean comfortable cabins nice modern showers Lots to do or nothing at all . A great mixture you just had to choose what you wanted. Old style but with all the good bits. Will stay again Penny
Woo Hooo Bimbi Park! Koalas, friendly kookaburras, possums and the beach. Not to mention hot showers that are actually stay hot. Great for all ages.
GET THERE!
I’ve taken groups of university students down to Bimbi Park for the past several years and our group has used it as a base for studies on the diverse flora and fauna of the Cape Otway region. (Koalas are only the beginning!) Frank and Katrina have been enthusiastic and very cooperative hosts, always helping to make our stay very enjoyable and productive. I’ve heard many compliments from our students about the excellent facilities and the beautiful surrounds. It’s also a great place for an interesting holiday, with many things to see nearby. I can’t recommend Bimbi Park highly enough!
We’ve stayed several times and will be back. Great place for kids and grown ups alike, lots to do , both in and around the park. Rooms and facilities everything we want from a camping ground.
Bimbi Park is one of those undiscovered gems. At first glance it does not seem impressive until you stay the night and discover a secluded spot with lots of wildlife and things to discover with the kids. It has a great location, near the Otway Fly, the lighthouse and there are lots of walks. I don’t want to promote it too much as I’d rather have it to myself!
Great location. Had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Bimi Park sounds a peaceful place to stay for a family holiday.
great positioning for research,
lovely cabins, comfy beds
great sustainability ideas in relation to water use
Loved it
I had such a great time there!!!
Flora, Fauna, Fantastic Food and Company!!! We had our work end of year break up there and it was a resounding success.Bimbi Park Rocks.
What a magical place the hospitality of Frank and Katrina coud not be bettered love staying in the swamp(a cabin that sleeps 6 ) we take the grandkids there often they always plead with us to go back for another great holiday
What a magical setting amongst nature at it’s very best and the hosts Frank and Katrina are just wonderful. I would recommend this place to all ages, kids will just love it and adults will enjoy the facilities and tranqulity of the place too.
Ah Bimbi, its our sacred place.
Bimbi is an amazing place to stay – beautiful setting, amazing wildlife, great facilities and friendly service – ticks all the boxes.
Beautiful surroundings and great pizza, definitely be staying here again!!
Whether camping or cabins Bimbi has it all for our family – the kids love it and we can unwind from city life and get close to nature with horse riding, koala spotting and walks to rainbow falls, station beach or Cape Otway lighthouse. Its also a great base from which to explore the region or just kick back in the central eating area enjoying the tranquility of the park and where the kids have fun with other kids in a safe environment. The kids always get excited when we say we are off to Bimbi for a long weekend or holiday as its an adventure but with all the creature comforts which makes it hard to leave!
Great park – friendly family service, camped there a few times now and good fun every time. Lots of Koalas! lovely walks and has all the facilities to enjoy a relaqxing stay!
Bimbi Park provides wonderful holiday facilities whilst being mindful of the fragile natural environment it is situated on. Great surroundings and always a very peaceful stay.
Bimbi park is the best i ever stay and can’t wait to Holiday there again.Thank you for such a great caravan Park
Pefect spot for any holiday, any season. Great grounds nestled among the mana gums. Heaps of activities for everyone. Fantastic hosts.
Our stay at Bimbi Park was fantastic. Beautiful location, fabulous facilities and friendly management. Our dog, Astro, loved the free play areas and swimming in the creek over the road. Just a short drive away was a beautiful dog friendly surf beach. All in all a great place to get away from it all..thanks
We adore Bimbi park!!! The best and most natural place to get up close with a Koala and enjoy the beautiful natural habitat together.
My family and I have stayed at Bimbi Park many times. We love the unspoilt ‘close to nature’ feeling of the place. Early morning walks down to Station Beach, outrides through bush and along the beach, and a choice of 3 or 4 stunning beaches to explore and enjoy only a few minutes away. The kids love it – the horseriding, freedom to roam and the classic old-time outdoor cinema under the trees. The hosts Frank and Katrina are so warm and welcoming, and very relaxed, and their renovations are fantastic. I love to take my foreign visitiors to Bimbi – a stunning taste of Australia – native bush, birds and koalas everywhere. Not far from Melbourne and yet a million miles away!
Bimbi is a unique and special place. I believe it is a place of healing. There are lots of stories of people staying at Bimbi and getting better. I have been staying at Bimbi for about 20 years. I bring my daughter and nephew now and they love it to. the nature, the bushwalks and the horseriding.
The surrounding nature of the magnificant Otways Ranges and the Shipwreck coast are of course fantantic! Bimbi Park itself is awesome. they have great facilities and the management always go that extra step for our comfort.
they deserve to win and I hope they will.
Bush camping with amenities. It was 46 degrees when we were there but we still had the best time ever and we will be visiting on a regular basis. Beautiful place.
One of the best place in Australia! Beautifull!
Thank you.
Wonderful place and hosts!
Bimbi’s access to superb beaches, wildlife, Apollo Bay and the Otway’s, and the lack of through traffic, makes Bimbi one if the best holiday locations in Victoria. The kids love it and we are coming back.
We experienced our best ever Easter at Bimbi Park and all booked to go again next year….the kids love the natural enviroment with all the Koala’s, Kookaburra’s and animals wandering around…what a life..and what a place to relax…
Bimbi park is a great place for families and those who want to go bush yet still have some creature comforts. The modern water wise amenities block I consider the best facilities seen and always clean, the same goes for the camp kitchen. The koala’s don’t let you down they are always there along with the bird life and other native animals. Theirs always something to do with bush walks and horse riding available. Tell you what don’t listen to me go find out for yourself and enjoy.
Been taking the family for the past 4 years to bimbi park.Highly recommend for anybody to stay there.
Bimbi Park (Diamond in the rough).
Thanking you for the great times and great service. Looking forward to seeing this Christmas break!!!
What a fantastic place Bimbi Park is. I have stayed there many times with my family and just love the serenity coupled with the multitude of activities available. A few years ago my partner and I did a two day horse ride through the bush and along the beach and it stays in my mind as a fun and memorable experience.
Fantastic park and facilities. The friendly hosts always had a smile on their faces and made us feel most welcome. Our 2yr old daughter loved it. She was captivated with everything from the koalas to the chooks to the very simple, yet very effective, tire swings. We will definitely be going back for years to come. This place rocks.
Great Camping site – the kids loved finding the koalas in the trees and watching the friendly sheep. Facilities were great and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. A truly authentic bush camping site with clean modern amenities makes for a wonderful stay.
A great friendly family hosting an exceptional facility.
Beautiful camping area with excellent facilities. Close to many scenic attractions as well as many nearby bushwalks
We didn´t like at all the place. We went there in winter, and it´s not the best place to be at all in winter (July). The cabin was very cold, and the badroom facilities didn´t have heating at all.
It was very unconfortable!.
I wouldn´t recommend it!
We traveled all the way from Vancouver, Canada just to “sleep under koalas.” What an amazing experience. The setting is gorgeous, the staff made us feel like family, our stay was a highlight of our trip Down Under.
I just discovered Bimbi Park last year and it was an absolute gem. Great little spot with the Koalas, especially to base yourself for exploring the Otway area. I was not expecting the modern and high quality facilities that I found and Frank and Katrina are extremely helpful. Plus horse riding in the Park starts right here. I recommend this place to everyone.
I came all the way from America to spend a week at Bimbi Park, and had an incredibly terrific time. Koalas all over the place, kukaburras, horseback riding, archaeological sites (I am an archaeologist), fishing, and close proximity to rain forest attractions and great restaurants. Don’t miss it!
Our cabin was very comfortable and well equipped and the site was very relaxing after enduring the dreadful Black Saturday in Melbourne it was a welcome retreat. Of course the highlight for us had to be the koalas, especially the mother carrying her baby, a site not seen in the trees of the UK!!
We visited from overseas, and Bimbi was our favorite holiday park in Victoria! Lots of koalas and kookaburras and very close to Cape Otway lighthouse. Highly recommend!
bimbi is an amazing caravan park.. i have gone capming heaps and no where else has been quite like it… the staff are amazing and are very helpful and friendly and we have become pretty good friends with them through the times i have been there… i have made some really good friends there who i talk to alot.. thanks x
Have stayed there many times & loved every visit. The owners are great & the facilities are top class. Always a good time had by all the family. Thanks Bimbi X
I love going to Bimbi Park. Even though we live near by it’s a great place for us to go and relax too. We take our push bikes and do lots of riding. Frank and Katrina look after us, their pizzas are the best!!! The cabins, camp kitchen and toilet facilities are all great.
We’ll be back.
Incredible place to stay. Koala’s, fantastic facilities, a cold beer and a nice warm fire with 2 of the greatest hosts i have ever met. 10 THUMBS UP! A definite MUST STAY in Victoria.
so wonderful !!!!
Great nights around the camp fire. Great pizza. A1 amenities. A wonderful place to go. Lovely people. A truly beauitful camp ground.
Great place but watch out for crazy greek cooks
Bimbi Park is the best!!! I’ve stayed there countless times and all have been memorable.
Bimbipark is amazing! Beautiful place. People and Nature in harmony.
i love bimbi it is the best place eva!
The koalas are friendly, charming, and helpful, no wait, this is the management and friendly staff – silly me !
Located all around the wonder full campsite, with modern facilities strewn throughout the mighty gum trees you will also find those cuddly creatures (the koalas of course …). Always a pleasure to stay at Bimbi, relax with the family, enjoy the bush walks, horse rides , the oceans, the peace and quiet, the stars at night. My kids still rate this as their number one (1) place to stay and holiday [ even beating some {not disclosing names} theme parks up in the north of the country ]. Kids enjoying themselves, and adults just relaxing, this IS the life we all need/want to get back to. Our family will continue to holiday in this number one place – Bimbi.
Koalas everywhere, fantastic facilities, fantastic cabins, fantastic walks and beaches. not a 4 star park 10 star park!!!!
bimbi is were it’s at !
i love bimbi park it is the best place in the world when ever i go to bimbi park i always make new friends
10 years of wonderful nights by the fire, sitting out under the stars, being surrounded by family and friends and the sounds of the bush. What more can one ask for – thank you Bimbi!!
it is a really fun place to hang around and play. i reckomend it to people who enjoy seeing the Outback Australia
ive been to bimbi only a few times but ive had great memories there. the staff are really friendly and im very good friends with them . they have good activities like horse riding and walking tracks .
Koala heaven!
And the hosts aren’t bad either.
The family will just love you for taking them to Bimbi Park where you’ll make good friends with nature and all of its inhabitants!
Not just a magic spot but the hospitality shown by Frank and Katrina really makes Bimbi park stand out. Great facilities and for those lucky enough to try Frank’s cooking it doesn’t get any better. Brilliant location for exploring Cape Otway , walks and wildlife.
bimbi park is the best caravan park in australia its got everything
We have used Bimbi Park as a base for walking the Great Ocean as a series of day walks. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts. The park is in a delightful setting and we have been impressed on our return visits by the environmentally sympathetic development and improvements that have been made over the years. The excellent camp kitchen and lounge facilities suit our requirements admirably. A great place to stay.
We are currently on a trip around Australia and have not found a place yet we love as much as our time at Bimbi Park! The Aussie Bush, Koalas, open fire and wide open spaces… can’t beat it. There are not many affordable places we can take our family of 6 – our favorite place to go.
I’ve used Bimbi Park on many occasions and have had only good experiences, with the staff, the Koalas and the weather! I recomend it to all my Overseas friends and visitors as a place to stay and enjoy what Victoria has to offer all in one location. I love it.
What a fantastic place to relax and Veg out under a magnificent Night sky..with all those Koalas and Possums..Better than a Zoo!! And with a Great piece of Coastline 5 minutes away ..Amazing Fishing!!! Kids will love it Guaranteed!!!!….And there’s not many places where you can have an open fire outside while enjoying a nice Barbie……Highly Recommended.
Wonderful location and very friendly staff. Would recomend it to anybody.
What a treat – We are new to Australia, and having Koalas above our head was something so rare and special that we will not forget it! The park was wonderful -natural unspoilt and just what we and our friends needed! A great getaway, but still with all the amenities in great condition!
Thanks Bimbi – you’re tops, and we will be back soon!
Bimbi Park is the perfect spot to holiday with the family. Unless of course if you don’t like koalas. There are plenty of koalas at Bimbi and in the nearby Otways forest. Don’t miss Aire River while you’re there.
It’s simply magical. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Great spot for everyone. Our group of 6 families have been going here for years. The kids have grown up under the canopy of the Gums and we have all explored the Otway Forest and coastal region many times using Bimbi as a home base. Hiking, fishing, swimming, lazing round the camp fire, walking, horseriding and a full experience of wildlife and extraordinary landscapes keep us coming back.
All of us who have travelled extensively through Australia know that Bimbi is a rare place – you can’t find environments like this just anywhere.
Bimbi Park – the best place to camp in the Otways. Horse riding here is a high-light. Their hens lay fantastic eggs and camp amongst koalas in the trees is a unique Australian experience.
Our favourite place to camp in the world. Where else can you see & hear so many koalas! We have done tent, cabin and retro caravan there and loved them all. It is quaint, rustic, friendly, clean and top class toilets etc We take all our overseas visitors there. Also, access to the Cape Otway walks etc Could not get better hosts either!!!
Cape Otway is one of my favourite places in the Otways and we always enjoy visiting Bimbi Park. Updated amenities and facilities add so much.
I will never forget the kindness of the manager . We’d enjoyed camping nearby at Blanket Beach. Then stopped by to check out the park for future reference. We asked if we could use the shower block! Not only did we enjoy a hot showers, but when we arrived home (Sydney) and discovered my husband’s toiletry bag had been left in the men’s shower block, the manager enthusiastically took the matter in hand. Given the park is quite remote, we received it with everything in tact about about a fortnight later.
10 out of 10!!!!!!!
Loved spotting koalas and possums, taking beach walks and coming back to real country living.
Yes, a great little spot just off the Great Ocean Road.
Alan. GoSeeAustralia
The place is fantastic. The Family all loved it.
Management were very warm & friendly. They helped us when needed [all 12 of us]. Natural habitat , animals, flora and fuana. Koala sitting in tree at shoulder height amazed the 10 exchange students in our care. Rooms very clean & inviting. We have been back 3 times – more enjoyable in summer than mid-winter, however, I still can’t get used to the idea of coin operated hot water for showers, but coped with it. Overall score = 7 / 10.
Only stayed the once, but want to get back. Not just koalas in the trees, but at night time there were feathergliders doing loop the loop between the trees overhead.
Peacefull place to stay with koalas in the trees
Caravan Park & Cabins at Cape Otway modern amenities block, multipurpose shared cooking facilities. Right on the Great Ocean Road
